| The Saskatchewan
Steel Fabricators & Erectors Association Inc was formed
in the spring of 1997 to represent the interests of Saskatchewan-based
steel fabricators and erectors.
MEMBERSHIP SERVICES
1. Communication
- Improve communication within our association on issues
that affect our membership, such as: manpower, workmanship,
industry standards and government legislation
- Quarterly meetings throughout the year
2. Safety
- Preparation and distribution of Association-prepared
safety manual
3. Manpower & Training
- Work within the Industry and with government to ensure
proper training programs are available and remain up to
date
- Identify manpower problems and work to improve availability
of qualified employees
- Educational seminars and workshops for members
4. Standard Practices
- Work with other Trade Associations, the Saskatchewan
Construction Association and the design profession to
standardize documents, drawings and procedures
- Promote Canadian Welding Bureau qualifications
- Review and update Saskatchewan Bid Depository Inc. tradescopes
for structural steel and miscellaneous metals
5. Promotion
- To promote the qualifications and capabilities of the
Saskatchewan Steel Fabricators and Erectors to the design
community
- To educate government, general contractors and consultants
to the benefits of working with Saskatchewan Steel Fabricators
and Erectors
